  Fly screens on most of the windows were broken in some way, some worse than others. We discovered that they did little to keep the mosquitoes out at night when we left a window open to get rid of the bleach smell that greeted us when we arrived (granted, I am a little sensitive to this kind of smell).

  It was nice but not worth the money. Dont get me wrong, it was fine, and the bathroom is awesome but wouldn't stay again. The thin door between adjoining villa means you can hear them, you can even smell their shower gel in the morning! The towels aren't great quality and there were a few stains incl on the cushion on the bed. There was also a dirty cup and spoon. Not what I'd expect for the price so a bit disappointed.

  Beautiful surroundings! Private balcony is lovely and the all over feel of the place is very cosy. Bathroom is well appointed and modern, spa was great. Foxtel is a welcome addition especially as there is no wifi (which I did find a bit strange these days, but oh well). Many tea and coffee options, as well as a little welcome box with a couple of small treats. There were also some books, magazines and DVDs - though they did seem a little random and out of date. Fire adds to ambiance and is very nice as decoration, but split system heater was necessary for warmth. Fire was on when we arrived which was nice.

  25 minutes after leaving I contacted the owner in regards to me brand new charger left behind. got a message saying it was found and would post it out. I offered to pay postage, they posted out someone elses charger , which would not have been found in our villa, and then weeks later told me bad luck and that I shouldn't have left it.

  Overall, while the experience was very pretty, we did end up wishing we'd chosen somewhere else for our honeymoon due to comfort, and will not be back.

  This was the first time my husband and I had been away since he broke his back a few months ago. this has been an unfortunate experience and I recommend staying elsewhere hoping you will find better value for money and peace of mind with property and service.

  Service felt a little dismissive also. We noticed some noise in the wall on the first night, we thought it might be birds. We sent a message to the owner and they promised to call in the morning to see if the birds had 'moved on'. No call ever came and the noise, after a while, sounded more like mice and did not cease during our entire stay. While we know that these things happen in the country and sometimes there's nothing to be done, it's more the lack of care that bothered us.
